Airswift is looking for a NERC Compliance Analyst (Business Analyst) to work on a 1-year assignment supporting a clean energy industry leader in Austin, TX.
This role will be based at the Lone Star Transmission’s (LST) Mesa Oaks office and focuses on supporting North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Operations and Planning (O&P) compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent writing skills, and experience in utility compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/modify internal NERC procedures for Operations and Planning, as assigned
- Update and submit personnel changes to the Compliance and Excellence (C&E) Team’s Roles and Responsibility (R&R) matrix for all NEET operating companies
- Support migration of procedures to NEET’s new Document Management platform
- Create and modify Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets (RSAWs) to ensure quality, audit-ready documents
- Review evidence for Sustainability Assessments and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, as assigned
- Support additional tasks as assigned, including MIDAS reporting and Order 881 Ambient Adjusted Ratings implementation readiness
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree
- 3+ years of experience in NERC Operations & Planning compliance or utility compliance
- 3+ years of experience building and executing a NERC O&P compliance program
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a NERC regional entity or regional transmission organization
- Familiarity with compliance software tools and platforms
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
