Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Defender (ID) Systems Analyst / Consultant to support the configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Industrial Defender cybersecurity tools. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess current system configurations, develop a roadmap for improvements, and ensure the secure and efficient operation of ID tools in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct an initial comprehensive assessment of Industrial Defender tools, including:
Asset connectivity
Database integrity
Agent and agentless configurations
Asset baselines
Alert and notification configurations
Analyze assessment results and develop a roadmap for configuration improvements
Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize and implement improvements under Company supervision
Monitor And Maintain
Overall system health of the ID tools
Availability of agent/agentless data feeds, escalating issues as needed
Baseline configurations using ID tools
Apply vendor patches following Company's change management protocols
Submit and manage incident tickets in Company's ServiceNow platform
Participate in Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings as requested
Generate and deliver monthly ID compliance reports
Provision and de-provision application accounts per approved change request tickets
Perform monthly audits of user access and role assignments based on Company-provided information
Review security alerts and escalate to the incident response team during working hours
Support incident investigations by providing access to detailed ID data as required
Recommend and implement tuning changes within the capacity of assigned resources and as prioritized by the Company
Produce monthly cyber operations reports
Qualifications
Proven experience in managing and configuring Industrial Defender or similar cybersecurity platforms
Strong understanding of asset and security configuration management
Experience working in highly regulated environments, preferably with NERC CIP compliance
Familiarity with ServiceNow and standard ITIL processes including change management
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under supervision in a collaborative environment
Additional Requirements
Must pass a NERC CIP-compliant background check
Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Pay rate:$88-$93hr
